Like his namesake, this Josh Allen is young, handsome, and very active. He’s a real team player who loves interacting with his foster sibling, a 3-year-old golden retriever. They get along great and play frequently throughout the day.
Josh Allen came to us as a foundling. As you can imagine he was anxious the first few days with his foster family. However, as he gets more comfortable with his surroundings, his personality is really starting to shine. He’s a sweet and friendly guy who loves attention, belly rubs, and snuggling in the evening. He even likes baths and grooming!
He already knows a few commands including sit and a whistle to get his attention and call him back. His foster family is helping him to learn down and to walk on a leash. He had been jumping and mouthing a fair amount when excited or wanting attention but he’s quickly learning to mind his manners. He’s recently neutered. That coupled with patience, love, and additional training should make him a wonderful family addition.
He enjoys having another dog around, does well in a crate, and doesn’t show any interest in critters in the yard. In addition, he’s not anxious during thunderstorms and does well meeting new people of all ages – including little ones.
Josh Allen is a playful pup. If you open your heart and home to this special guy, he will repay you with unconditional love, companionship, and special memories that will last a lifetime. Please consider inviting him in and making him the quarterback of your family!
