Honey is a gorgeous cream-colored golden, who needs a new start through no fault of her own. We are not sure of the life she led before she came to us, but she may have had very little joy or happiness. Honey deserves a new beginning.
Honey is well named. She has a sweet, gentle, and shy disposition. She’s looking for a family that has the time to give her the love and training she needs to have an amazing life. Honey does have many fears, however, with patience and proper force free training we are confident she can overcome her past. While in foster care she is working with one of GRRMF’s behavior specialist and is slowly learning how to trust and love.
Honey has lived with children previously but is uncomfortable around high energy and loud noises. She is generally shy around other dogs, although being in a tranquil house with a calm dog that could mentor her would be ideal. Honey is always up for car rides and a soft, cozy doggy bed. She is crate trained and finds comfort in her crate or bed as her safe space.
This special pooch deserves a second chance at life and needs a peaceful, quiet environment to come out of her shell. Her new family must be patient and give her the time she needs to help with her rehabilitation. Can you promise to love her for the rest of her life? Are you ready to open your heart and your home to this ‘sweet as honey’ gal and give Honey the new beginning that she deserves?
Honey’s adoption fee is $850, which helps to defray the average $2,000 expense per dog in our rescue. Click here to learn about the adoption process.
