This pretty flower girl was surrendered due to her owner’s failing health.
Buttercup arrived at her foster family home very spirited and energetic. She settled right in though and became very sweet and affectionate. She slept in bed with her foster mom the very first night.
In typical golden fashion, Buttercup loves to be loved and be your shadow. She hasn’t really noticed the pool in her backyard but she is right on top of any tennis ball activity. She is great on car rides, likes belly rubs and enjoys being groomed.
She is a typical goofy cutie pie golden who loves to roughhouse with her owner and even speaks in a low grumbly voice when she is being silly at playtime! Buttercup is very confident and friendly to every person she meets and is good with all dogs she meets, both large and small! Buttercup gets along with all dogs, big and small and cats don’t phase her in the least. She’s not comfortable playing with dogs, so she prefers to ignore them if they want to party and play.
With good manners, Buttercup knows her name, comes when called, and knows the sit command. She is completely housebroken and will ‘go’ on command and she has not had any accidents. Her foster mom gives her the run of the house when she is gone and nothing has ever been moved or chewed.
Buttercup and her foster mom will be working on leash manners in the next week, when her stitches are removed. When she arrived, our GRRMF partner vet was able to remove two small benign growths and spay her at the same time.
Does this Velcro girl who loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch sound like your ‘cup’ of golden tea?
