Hi, my name is Buster! I was brought here for a new life after my owners became too old to care for me.

I am getting very comfortable here in my foster home and I absolutely love my foster brother, Clooney. We play together a lot and we love chasing each other! I also love being near my humans and will snuggle on the couch and “talk” to them with my tail wagging! My foster mom says though that sometimes they have to redirect me if I become too attention seeking and start barking. She loves it when I sit over the back of the couch and says it is really cute. I love to take walks and be outside, as long as my humans are out there with me! I don’t like change very much and will tell my foster mom if anything is unusual in the backyard, like a different animal. I even ate a lizard one time! Sometimes I don’t know my own strength, and even though I am a lover, I can get carried away. My foster mom says I need to lose about 30 pounds.

I am a very well behaved boy and my manners with treats are impeccable! My foster mom says that I am very dainty at taking them from her, being the gentleman I am. I also know sit and stay and my foster mom is trying to work with me on the concept of personal space. I don’t use my dog bed and prefer to sleep on the floor next to the humans’ bed. My vision has been a little cloudy lately and I am on eye drops.  The vet is working with me and my foster mom to figure out what’s wrong. My new family will have to continue my special care.

Brushing me is fine for a little while, but I don’t like when it’s overdone. I get a little nervous when a sudden noise happens, but once my humans reassure me, I am fine.

I am a very sweet and loving boy, and with a little patience and lots of care and love, my future in someone’s family is going to be very bright! Could it be your family?
