This gentle giant was brought to GRRMF because his owner is disabled and could no longer care for him.
Buddy arrived at his foster home and made himself right at home! He picked a spot in the living room and stayed there all night, feeling very comfortable. He is indifferent toward cats, but likes other dogs and children.
Buddy may be 10, but he is a puppy at heart! He loves his chew bones, soft toys and balls, and will even play just like a puppy with the neighbor’s 8 month old lab! He is quite the “young acting gentleman,” as his foster says. Buddy even looks like a young pup, with not a speck of gray in his pretty red coat. He loves to go for walks and will give a paw if he wants to go again or is ready for dinner.
Buddy is a very well behaved boy and knows sit, wait, and go lay down. If he is reminded, he will take a treat gently. He is a gentleman when left alone and is housebroken. A generally healthy boy, Buddy has a follow up scheduled with the vet to get his sutures removed from his neuter. He also will need his booster shots. Buddy is overall a very pleasant, sweet boy who is very loving!
A friendly, young at heart pup, Buddy would make a great addition to any family! If you would like to let this sweetie into your heart and home, get your application in today!
