Blu, with his bright blue eyes, wins the hearts of everyone he meets!
Blu and Yvonne are presently visiting assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, an elementary school and several libraries. Blu especially enjoys his various library visits, happily swinging his big fluffy tail in excitement when he sees the children who come to
see him.
Yvonne eagerly admits that she loves their library visits best and seeing the children’s faces when they meet Blu. They absolutely adore how fluffy he is, and, as a proud parent, it makes her heart sing!
When not doing therapy visits, Blu loves walking/hiking in the woods/parks and swimming in the lakes/rivers his family visits. Being part husky, he typically loves any activity that involves water, including being pushed around the backyard pool on a boogie board.
Melting his mom’s heart is the sight of sweet, sociable Blu having fun with his many doggy friends in the neighborhood. Then there’s his penchant for sitting outside and waiting for the children to walk from the bus stop past the house in the hopes that he can greet them and possibly play with them!
Now Yvonne wonders if, in the future, there might be therapy programs involving foster children and/or boys and girls clubs.
