Big-hearted Blizzard brings healing happiness to everyone he meets!
In the brief time Blizzard and Renee have been a therapy team, they have spent most of it at Advent Health downtown and at their Princeton street location. They have also attended several first responders’ events. To say that Blizzard, blessed with such a gentle and loving nature, brightens the day of everyone he meets is truly an understatement.
Not only are these experiences extremely rewarding for Renee, they reinforce the importance of the paws-itive work she and her beloved Blizzard do.
When he’s not touching others’ lives with his kindness and is simply relaxing at home, Blizzard’s preferred pastimes are walking, eating, sleeping and being with people.
Surprisingly mellow for a supposed bird dog, Blizzard has absolutely no interest in chasing birds, squirrels or lizards. And yet, his favorite toy just happens to be a duck that he seldom lets out of his sight!
Renee hopes that in the future, alongside Advent’s highly successful and structured indoor events, they might consider holding some events outdoors as well.
