Archie is a young pup who is just bursting with promise. He can’t wait to find a patient and loving family who is ready to help him reach his full potential.
Archie is living in a home with kids and another dog. Everyone is getting along well, but Archie picked his favorite and attached himself to his foster dad. He is happiest when he gets to be near his people and he can often be found napping at their feet while they work from home.
If you grab your walking shoes, Archie will be by your side ready to show off his excellent leash skills on a long stroll around the neighborhood. He doesn’t pull on his leash, but he is very interested in critters like squirrels and bunnies. You can tell he is thinking about how much fun it would be to chase them. Since he can’t run after them, he’ll happily engage in a game of fetch with you and chase a tennis ball in the backyard instead.
Archie uses a crate, but when he is in there, he wants to be able to see you. He does not enjoy alone time and will whine and bark if you are not nearby. He even likes to follow his family to the bathroom and will cry at the door until he is let inside. Archie is not fully house trained yet, but he is practicing and making improvements every day. He will do best with a family who can give him the time, training, and patience he needs to build confidence and become more independent.
Could you be the perfect partner to help this sweet boy reach his full potential?
