Several years ago Lyn and her family adopted Titan, now known as Tristan. As Lyn would tell Thundershirt he was beautiful, well mannered, but deathly afraid of the thunderstorms which Florida is so well known for. Below is the letter Lyn sent to Thundershirt:
We have adopted our three beautiful boys from Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida!
The one in the front is Tristan and he is the proud owner of a Heather Grey Thundershirt! At 6 years old and perfect in every way, he came to us deathly afraid of thunder and lightning – that just doesn’t work in Tampa, Florida! We tried everything, hugs, doggie prozac, herbal remedies – nothing helped this poor guy. It was an impossible situation for him. Every time there was a storm brewing, one of us had to come from work to save him. He cried, burrowed, tried to hide behind his brothers, shook, and hid in places too small for even a mouse to fit. The Thundershirt has changed his life, not to mention ours. He can now “weather” these storms with grace and style – and of course he looks gorgeous in it! 
Thank heavens for your Thundershirt! The best invention ever!!

As Lyn would tell GRRMF the President of Thundershirt invited them to shoot a commercial and once Tristan put on his Thundershirt he was so calm he almost fell asleep! The commercial aired mostly at night and Lyn would get calls from friends and relatives that would say “We saw you and Tristan on TV”!
