Once again the volunteers of GRRMF step up! Thanks to everyone for coming and helping GRRMF get exposure and much needed donations.
GRRMF set up a booth at the 6th Annual Woof, Wag & Wiggle Event (formerly Boxer Bash), on Saturday, 11/07/15, at the Wickham Park Main Pavilion in Melbourne. Even though it was so HOT, barely a breeze, and light rain drops throughout the event, lots of dogs in all shapes, sizes, colors and ages joined the festivities! We set up an education table and had golden goodies to sell as well as accepting donations from our wonderful visitors.
A special thank you goes out to our east coast coordinator Janet and her team of Karin and Becky for helping all day long! From unloading, setting up, supporting sales and answering questions about the rescue throughout the day and then tearing down and packing up everything, events like this wouldn’t be so easy or as fun without your help! GRRMF truly appreciates the labor of love you do for our goldens and rescue!
And paws up to Reggie & “Mr. Barkley” and Gregg & “Tanner” participating as long as you did in the heat. We know you wanted to stay longer, but so important to keep those precious pups happy, hydrated and cool!
