We had a great Jubilee, bigger than ever!! Our farthest travel award went to a man and his pup from NJ! Word has gotten out and we were actually featured on the weather channel Friday. We counted around 250 dogs but stopped counting and the dogs kept coming. The weather wasn’t even great. We could use some more help next year if anyone has a weekend to give up!
We will be donating $1800 to GRRMF from the proceeds from the dinner and raffle. The 2 canvas prints from Tom Mosser made about $700. He came from Pennsylvania to our jubilee too! Subaru also donated $500 this year. This makes the Jubilee total $3000 for GRRMF.
We collected $3200 for the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. This donation will be going into their new hemangiosarcoma study. Too many of us have lost our beautiful goldens to this dreadful disease. MAF also is doubling donations at this time.
We used a new photographer at the beach and his pictures were up before the weekend was even over. Be sure to check them out!
The highlight was Miss Florida singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Look for it on Facebook. It was beautiful!
