About the Event
We gather to bring awareness to the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. Enjoy a weekend of sun and surf with friends, family and of course our golden retrievers at Jupiter, Florida. You do not have to be involved in the study to participate in this wonderful event. Enjoy meeting other golden owners while the pups joyfully play together in the sand and surf. Shade tents or umbrellas and extra water are always good things to bring. Pack a picnic and stay for lunch.
Schedule
Friday evening attendees can meet at the Fountains at Harbourside Place. Meet at 5:00 PM for a parade with our beautiful goldens around Harbourside Place and stay for dinner at one of the many pet-friendly restaurants.
On Saturday morning, enjoy a romp at the beach from 10:00-12:00 at Jupiter Dog Beach Marker #27. Watch dozens of goldens play and swim! The First 125 registered dogs will receive a goody bag full of treats and more when you sign in at the beach. Please be sure to register so we are prepared for your pups!
After a fun morning beach event and a power nap, bring your pups Saturday evening to Ocean Cay Park, at 5:00 PM, for a Catered Dinner from Park Ave BBQ and Grille with craft beers from Twisted Trunk, Tequesta Brewery, Tito’s,iced tea, lemonade and water. Dinner will include barbecue chicken and pulled pork, mac and cheese, cornbread, mashed potatoes, caesar salad, and assorted desserts. Tickets are $25 (children under six eat free), and proceeds benefit the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida. Participate in a raffle and win prizes after dinner! Please pre-register!
