Pearl is a golden-hearted girl with a curious spirit and a friendly personality that makes her a joy to be around. The world is an exciting place through Pearl’s eyes, and she loves exploring it one sniff at a time. Whether she’s checking out the breeze or watching the action around her, Pearl approaches life with bright enthusiasm.
Pearl does well on her leash and enjoys heading out for short walks where she can take in all the sights and smells. If she spots another dog, hold tight because she may give an enthusiastic tug to let you know she’s hoping to make a new friend. She has been friendly with most people she meets, though occasionally she may give a little vocal reminder if she needs a moment of space before saying hello. The good news is that Pearl redirects quickly, especially if you have a tasty treat ready.
Still very much a puppy, Pearl is a smart girl who learns quickly when praise and snacks are involved. She already does a great job with “sit” and is working on mastering “come” and “let’s go”. With her eagerness to please and love of yummy rewards, she’s well on her way to becoming an excellent adventure companion.
Pearl may pass on a game of fetch but bring out her rope toy and she’ll happily pounce on it, showing you just how joyful playtime can be.
Pearl enjoys being around her people but isn’t a Velcro dog. She likes to check in with her foster family for a quick pet, but she’s also perfectly content to relax nearby watching the world go by. Her curiosity keeps her engaged with everything happening around her. Sometimes she’ll gently place her front paws on you just to say hello or to get a better view of what’s going on. Mornings with Pearl come with a little extra sweetness. While she isn’t allowed up on the bed, she will place her front paws on the side to say good morning as you get ready to start the day together.
With her playful puppy energy, affectionate nature, and curious mind, Pearl is ready to bring fun, companionship, and a whole lot of heart to her forever home.
