Honey

This is why GRRMF exists, and our volunteers are so passionate. One glance at Honey’s before photo is enough to illustrate how scared and sick she was. Rescued from a shelter, she arrived heart worm positive, pregnant, and trembling.

Special fosters with unbelievable patience cared for her and helped deliver her litter. Only after she had weaned her puppies could Honey start the long and often painful heart worm treatment.

Today, Honey is an amazing dog who showers her family with love, snuggles, and wet kisses. She’s also giving back to the community as a Hearts of Gold therapy dog.

Honey is just one example of the many dogs GRRMF saves and rehomes. As a volunteer run organization, we are always looking for compassionate volunteers and are grateful for the generous contributions of our supporters.
