How did you hear about GRRMF?
Researching rescue groups after losing their golden and shepherd, Ginger and George discovered GRRMF and decided this was the organization they wanted to work with to fill their empty nest. After being approved, they were asked to foster a bonded pair of huge but grand goldens (Sienna and Guido) at over 124 pounds each. Their next foster was Bailey whose gentle demeanor taught them to slow down and enjoy life! Now proud members of the GRRMF family, they have met many wonderful volunteers and are most impressed with the love and compassion everyone has for each and every rescue dog!

Most Memorable Moment:
“One of our fosters arrived overweight and needing special training for being leash reactive to other dogs on our walks. We worked with a GRRMF trainer and today she goes to doggie birthday parties at restaurants and plays with other dogs at the local dog park with her forever family – priceless!!!”
Advice to Potential Volunteer:
“The rewards will take your breath away! There are so many areas that need your talent and no task is too small, plus you can literally pick one that allows you to volunteer the number of hours that fit into your personal schedule. There is nothing more rewarding than watching one of our rescue dogs move from ‘Available’ to ‘Success Story’ and knowing that you played a part in changing their life forever.”
