Lucy loves nothing more than loving on everyone she meets!

These may be early days for Lucy and Kaitlyn but they’ve been spreading Lucy’s special joy throughout the seniors’ homes they visit. Lucy loves greeting everyone (and every fellow Therapy dog) and always ensures that everyone she meets gets Lucy kisses.

Lucy now recognizes some of the regulars and vice versa. And, according to Kaitlyn, the best parts of volunteering are the delighted looks on people’s faces – especially when they pull out her trading card  — and the knowledge that Lucy has made their day.

At home, Lucy, who’s extremely energetic, loves greeting everyone she passes on her daily walks, swimming in the family pool and being at the beach. Not to mention the fact that she’ll do anything for a scrap of food.

She’s the biggest cuddle bug and gets jealous when she can’t join in on any hugs or public displays of affection. She’s also the sassiest when she doesn’t get her way. So lots of love it is unless you want to get the biggest “side eye” from her!

As for this passionate team’s future: “Each visit is like a visit to a candy shop,” admits Kaitlyn, “because Lucy LOVES seeing and greeting everyone. We can’t wait to continue showing all the love and giving back.”
