A Morning Ritual Filled with Joy
White Duck Espresso, a Tampa Bay area coffee shop, goes way beyond serving coffee to its community.
Since the opening of the coffee shop, Drew Malley and his rescued golden retriever, Cody, would visit White Duck Espresso. Located in Lutz, just north of Tampa, Drew would enjoy his regular cup of coffee and Cody would happily lick up his pup cup. It was a very special part of their morning routine and their lives together. The employees would also look forward to Drew and Cody’s daily visits.
Remembering CodySadly, last fall Cody unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge. To honor Cody and their happy memories, Drew designed an image of Cody wearing a White Duck Espresso sweatshirt and holding a cup of coffee. He created stickers and gave them to the employees as a thank you for being a special part of Cody’s life. The owners of the coffee shop, also life‑long golden retriever enthusiasts, printed more stickers and gave each customer one on the shop’s 6th anniversary. |
