Lovable Lucky lets everyone know just how much he loves them!
This compassionate team has been paying visits to Senior Care Centers, Military Senior Homes, Memory Care Centers and elementary schools. Bill eagerly admits that he and Lucky enjoy visiting the elementary schools most because the children are so enthusiastic.
Bill says that their favorite therapy visit was to Pebble Springs Senior Center in The Villages. They knew one of the residents there and all of those they met were so happy to pet Lucky. Also the press was there, and the team had a large photo taken and an article printed in the paper!
At home, Lucky’s favorite activity is going to a morning doggy play group and greeting their neighbors, especially the children at the school bus stop.
What melts Bill’s heart most is that during therapy visits Lucky not only loves being petted, he looks everyone in the face as if he’s saying, “I love you so much.”
Bill says that he’s probably older than most of the people he and Lucky visit in the Senior Care Centers. By taking Lucky on therapy visits there, he has a good feeling that he’s not only giving back to society, but the fact that Lucky’s making so many people happy makes him feel a little younger.
As for the future: Bill and Lucky would like to visit a Children’s hospital.
