Jaime’s family swapped foster for fur-ever when they adopted Memphis. Now the “middle man” in a trio of Golden Retrievers, his mood constantly changes – going from calm to energetic – depending on which of his doggy siblings he’s with at the moment.
Seldom seen without his trademark tongue out and his wide, warm smile, he’s a beguiling blend of silliness and sweetness, balancing his days between clowning for his parents and cuddling with them on the couch. Always happy, always cheery, he’ll sit and twitch the tip of his tail back and forth on the floor when he’s especially excited! Famously fond of toys, he LOVES his Chuck-It ball toy, loves going on outdoor trips and loves riding in the cab of the family’s new pickup truck.
“We recently relocated to South Carolina,” explains Jaime, “so we’re having fun exploring. Memphis has been to the lake, the mountains, the beach, and on camping trips. He’s even attended several car shows with us. He’s doing very well, and is gradually learning not to jump up to say ‘hello’ when visitors come over.”
Having successfully completed basic obedience training, Memphis hopes to receive his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate this year.
