Trina has a zest for life and enjoys exploring her new environment and greeting everyone with happy tail wags. She is a Velcro girl at heart who likes snuggle time or just laying on your feet. Trina loves playing fetch in the backyard, car rides, having her belly scratched and extra towel rubs after her bath. A quick learner, she already knows which toys stay inside and those that are allowed outside for playtime activities.
Rescued from a shelter, Trina was a bit anxious when she first arrived in her foster home but is adjusting well and her confident side is beginning to shine. She knows her commands and has good leash manners, however controlling her excitement when meeting new people and dogs does need more work. Her foster parents are helping her learn to keep all four paws on the ground! Trina is a gentle girl who is curious about the lizards and squirrels, but is not interested in hunting or harming them. She becomes stressed when her foster feline brother has an unfriendly reaction to her invitation to play as Trina want to be friends to everyone and everything. She has a unique “prance” step when she walks, almost like a show horse. Maybe there is a future in agility for this young, energetic girl who is eager to please.
Trina is looking for a family that likes to keep busy, burn off energy and has an enthusiasm for life that matches hers.
