You won’t be able to stop smiling from the moment you meet Mason. He is the happiest guy, and his bubbly personality is just infectious!

Mason is staying in a home with another dog who is older than him and only 9 pounds, but they have quickly become good buddies. Mason is very gentle and respects that his new friend doesn’t have as much interest in playing a game of tug. Since playing is a favorite pastime for Mason, he would love a new home with another dog – maybe younger and a little bigger – who could keep up with him. He enjoys playing with his new stuffie and gets so excited when he activates the squeaker.

Mason makes friends wherever he goes. He absolutely loves to meet new people and will lean on their legs so he can get as close as possible.  He follows his foster mom around the house and would probably jump up on the bed to cuddle if she gave in to those big puppy dog eyes. Instead, he settles for the next best thing and curls up on his dog bed to sleep nearby all night.

When it is time to take a walk, he sits patiently while you put on his harness. He is a big boy and might need a little extra help to contain some of his excitement when he is walking around the neighborhood. He has spotted other animals, including cats, when he is out for a stroll, but he just gives them a quick glance and continues on his way.

Mason is house trained and does not use a crate. He knows commands like sit, come, and stay. After he gets settled into a comfy spot, he does well riding in the car. This handsome boy also loves to look his best and enjoys getting his coat brushed and having the hair trimmed on his paws.
