According to his foster parents, Jackson has a very “sweet nature” about him, and he is quite the lover boy. Some of his favorite activities include belly rubs, playing with toys, walks, and fetching ball! His foster parents say that Jackson loves to chase anything that is moving; so a “firm grip” of the leash is essential on walks! After a walk, Jackson enjoys snacking on a bone in solidarity. Jackson does not live with children or other dogs, but he does shares his space with two feline friends whom he enjoys playing with and observing.
Jackson might seem fearless, but he is scared of loud noises such as thunderstorms and fireworks. Jackson will look for a safe place to take shelter; he feels best under a blanket with nothing but his nose out! His foster parents have found that lying next to him and reassuring him that these noises are normal is the best way to provide comfort. Each day Jackson warms up more and more in his foster home as he explores his new environment.
Jackson is both housebroken and loves to snuggle up on his bed! His foster parents say he is not much of a “follower,” but he will check to see where his humans are when he’s napping. Jackson has been working on a couple of commands such as “sit” and “lay down.”
Jackson deserves a loving home and human(s) who can provide the reassurance and comfort he needs. Jackson could be the perfect match for you and your family. Let Jackson Jax work his powers to rescue you!
