Hi, my name is Cubby! I came to GRRMF when a nice lady saw me at the shelter and came back and got me. I was a stray and it was very frightening out there and I’m just a pup.
But what a life I have now with my foster family. I have a big crate to sleep in and also when my fosters leave. I just love my crate and sometimes go in there just to relax or chew my bone. Mom says I’m getting better about jumping up, but I’m so darn happy to see everybody I forget sometimes. I’m potty trained and haven’t had an accident, I walk pretty good on a leash, except when those lizards cross my path (me chasing lizards)– I’ve just got to get them. Never have caught one, but one of these days…..
I learned the other day to chase a tennis ball, boy was that fun! Then mom said something about bring it back – hmmmm. I guess if I want her to throw it again – I need to, but I have so much fun just running past her!
I also learned that I can tolerate cats, but the next door lady’s cat chased me all over the house, boy was I scared. I ran and jumped into Mom’s lap. So, if you have a cat and you want me, tell the cat to be nice to me ‘cause I like them. I like kids much better!
I’m not too afraid of things, after all I’m a pound puppy. I do bark to let my fosters know that there are people walking by with dogs and if they come to the door, but that’s about it. I’d like to say I’m a very independent pup, but the truth is I’m a mommy’s baby. I follow her all around. I go with dad outside and stuff but really, mom feeds me.
All in all, I’m just a typical puppy looking for a family to call my own.
