Surrendered by a family who couldn’t care for her, Trixie arrived with mange, hookworms and very shy of people. Christina’s first meeting with Trixie was strained at best but Christina took a leap of faith and a year later Trixie, her sibling Dakota and Christina are a bonded family. “Our story is a good one” says Christina, “and Trixie is a wonderful addition. The process is worth the wait.
