GRRMF rescued Abbey from a shelter in 2015, heartworm positive and in need of special care. “Abbey came into our lives shortly after our golden, Lucy, passed over the rainbow bridge,” reports Nancy and Jeff. “You’ve heard the saying ‘who rescued who’? Nothing could be truer in this case.
She’s our walking buddy, gentle with our 13-year old chocolate lab Roxy and makes us laugh every day. We are so grateful to GRRMF for giving Abbey a second chance and us the opportunity to open our hearts and home to another golden.”
