Jack came to GRRMF when he was surrendered to a shelter. With everything this boy has been through, he is a little fearful at new experiences and building his confidence and trust is his fosters goal, His foster mom has noticed he doesn’t like the front door but using the back door is not a problem. He is Velcro as he likes to be in the same room as you, but sometimes you don’t notice he has come in to lay down next to you. He is curious and LOVES his cuddle time. Overall healthy, Jack is a bit over weight and is on a diet and getting more exercise. He knows his name, commands, is house broken, doesn’t need to be crated, and gets along with the foster’s dog. When out on walks (which he loves), Jack doesn’t seem to pay much attention to other dogs. When he meets people, he is cordial but not over the top.
Jack is a gem that needs help in overcoming his fearfulness and becoming that self-confident dog we all know he wants to be!
