Transportation is such an important safety step in the wellness of our pups!   We really need transporters throughout our area and especially along the Interstate 4 corridor from the Tampa area, through Orlando to Daytona.  You don’t need to drive the entire way, any distance is appreciated.  Become a rescue transporter!

Most of our transport needs are weekday mornings and afternoons, these are mostly based on scheduling needs for our dogs and their vets. As an active transporter we will be happy to send you a car magnet you can proudly display on your doggie taxi!

Our transporters are an awesome team who ensure the safe and gentle arrival of our goldens into the GRRMF program. This is a critical step for our organization as our transporters are the first GRRMF caregivers to see and touch our dogs.  Transporters are supported by our wonderful transport coordinator, Sue, who organizes our volunteers based on their availability and comfort level for driving distance and locations to move our dogs safely to and from vet offices, foster homes as well as retrieve the dogs from the surrendering owners.

If you love to drive, meet our dogs at the threshold of their new life and get loving kisses along the way… this is the job for you! Our volunteer hours are mainly weekdays during the day and some Saturday mornings/early afternoons on an exception basis.
