Sweet Suzie is one of our elderly gals who would love to have a calm place to call home. Suzie came to us when her owner needed to move and the family member who took her in couldn’t find a new family for her to love. And she has so much love to give! We know Suzie deserves another chance and we’ll find just the right home to take her in and give her the easy care-free life she deserves.

When Suzie is happy, her eyes dance and her tail wags. There’s nothing like a happy dog! Suzie gives her toys a shake every once in a while, but she’d really rather be gazing into your eyes and enjoying your attention. Meal time is one of her favorite times and she is sure to let you know with a few choice words! But a gentle shhhh is all it takes to remind Suzie how to wait like a lady.

Even though Suzie has had some issues with her feet (which are well on the way to being cleared up with good nutrition and a short-term course of medication) as well as some stiffness due to arthritis, she still has a sunny disposition.
