Meet 4 year old Sarah. If she were in high school, she'd be the prom queen, the cheerleader, the popular girl with lots of friends. That's because Sarah has the personality of a social butterfly. Once she gets over an initial bit of nervousness, she warms up quickly and she likes meeting people as much as she likes meeting other dogs.

Sarah became a member of the GRRMF crowd when she started having seizures. Unsure of how to handle this fairly common medical issue, her family decided to place her with us. With the help of our veterinarian, we have been able to find the correct medicine and dosage so that Sarah has been seizure-free for the past month. She only needs to take her medicine daily and we have every reason to believe the seizures won't return.

Now that her only medical issue has been resolved, Sarah has settled into her foster home. Her foster dad adores her and thinks she'd love a canine play buddy in her new home. Sarah loves to interact and play with other dogs. She also Sarah loves going for walks and she walks well on leash. One of her favorite pastimes is taking a stroll around the neighborhood, greeting the neighbors and spreading her special brand of golden joy.

Sarah is not quite as confident when it comes to riding in the car. She gets a little nervous, but we're sure this can be changed as she goes on some short trips with positive experiences that she enjoys.

Would you love a golden gal to help you get out and meet people? Or are you a social butterfly yourself? Either way, Sarah may be just the girl you're looking for.
