This Big Boy has a mysterious past. He walked up to someone’s house in a rainstorm, filthy and exhausted. He had no collar or tags, and no microchip. When an owner was not located through the proper channels, GRRMF was called. BB is a senior guy – somewhere around 11-12 years – and it’s sad that he wound up homeless and lonely like this. But all that is behind him, and GRRMF has promised that his remaining years will be filled with lots of sunshine.

BB is sweet-sweet-sweet! He wants nothing more than to be by your side and will follow you from room to room. He’s completely house trained and has lovely manners. He knows some commands, and is very willing to do whatever you’d like of him. He has some joint stiffness, which is to be expected in a gentleman of his years, but a nicer personality you couldn’t find.

He loves the outdoors and will roll in the grass, then lie quietly and sniff the breeze. He enjoys retrieving tennis balls and other toys and when he’s tired of that, he enjoys lying on his dog bed with his toys all around. Yep, typical golden!!

BB is neutered and up to date on all shots. He’s got a few age-related bumps, which are benign and don’t need to be removed. Overall, this is just a sweet-as-sugar golden who deserves to spend his remaining years loved and cared for with some very special family. He will return your love a million times over.
